Media folk have always had a conflict with parent, the conservatives still stuck in the era of being a doctor was the best job.
Well conservatives are scared of being creative, they are people that rely on ethics and numbers.
I’m not hating on conservatives and not saying creatives are not conservative. If you’re a creative and conservative well your considered as conscious in a way because you are so aware of global trends you choose to be part of popular culture.
The conservative has beliefs and dedicates himself to that belief and chooses not to take in something he sees as not being ethical.
My point is that the media in south africa is so uptight there’s no creative freedom. If we were so free just imagine how many cannes and black pencils we would win. There’s that word I hate CENSORSHIP.
I mean why don’t we have horror series in zulu or afrikaans, well its those conservatives all they want to see is romance..romance.
